Let me simplify, probably 90% of the posts copied to this blog are about people complaining about "pricing" "availability" and "elitism" within the hobby of G.I.Joe Collecting. Now, the bloggers here have made a repeated point to call these people, "whiners" "complainers" people who are "butt hurt because they can't afford what others can". The analogy is this, The Democrats or "progressives" have a big problem with the "rich 1%", the "big guy taking advantage of the little guy so he can pile up more cash". This is the theme of their campaign. Now if the people who own this blog were Democrats and held this position, isn't it kind of "hypocritical" to use the word another poster used above, to sit here and use this blog as a platform to laugh at the people who are less fortunate in the collecting community and call them "whiners" all the while praising the practices of the gijoe club and saying that the hobby of gi joe collecting having an "elite 1%" is perfectly acceptable, nobody should question, complain or comment about it.

Scott, I've never posted here before, primarily because my group has never been called out by name before. I'm Sgt Humpty on all of the forums that I belong to. I'm not hard to find. I've never bothered to hide from anyone and my real name has been attached to my blogger profile since I created it a few years ago. Do your research and you'll see that I'm not lying. I'm posting because I find it odd that you have this sudden issue with me because you believe that a group of 30+ people, of which I am a member, is responsible for this blog. Even if that were true, it certainly wouldn't be all of us, would it? I'm a pretty certain that I've never taken a shot at you. If you have an issue with one or two or our members, then address it with them. Don't run around calling the whole group of us names. All it does is feeds the fire.

I've never hid behind a name online. My name is Ken Huss, I've made it know up and down quite often, if you or anyone else wants to reach me it's not hard. I'm one of what? Maybe 2 or 3 openly gay members in hobby of some of most socially conservative people out there, short of competitive cross burners. I've never pulled my punches on hisstank, or hid away from the things I said behind the internet's vial of anonymity, why would I start now on a new website under a lol name? It makes no sense.
If someone wants to call me an asshole I don't mind it. 9 times out of 10 I probably am being one. Just as I respect this site's power to call a spade a shade I expect it out of the people I interact with to do the same to me when needed. No judgement, no grudges, it's just the internet and we should be able to police each other. We're all adults.
As far as hisstank goes... I love hisstank. It's honestly the greatest community out there. I've made so many great friends and allies via my time there. It's the biggest site so you're going to experience it all there. The greatest person the digital world has to offer and most backward douche that leaves you scratching your head wondering how he even has the ability to turn on his computer. I don't mean that to sound negative but that's another reason why I love the site. I love that dichotomy. You can not find that anywhere else! Now, the bloggers here have made a repeated point to call these people, "whiners" "complainers" people who are "butt hurt because they can't afford what others can". The analogy is this, The Democrats or "progressives" have a big problem with the "rich 1%", the "big guy taking advantage of the little guy so he can pile up more cash". This is the theme of their campaign. Now if the people who own this blog were Democrats and held this position, isn't it kind of "hypocritical" to use the word another poster used above, to sit here and use this blog as a platform to laugh at the people who are less fortunate in the collecting community and call them "whiners" all the while praising the practices of the gijoe club and saying that the hobby of gi joe collecting having an "elite 1%" is perfectly acceptable, nobody should question, complain or comment about it.

Its a stretch, but the analogy is sound, even though he has no idea most likely what their political affiliation is.

I'm posting because I find it odd that you have this sudden issue with me because you believe that a group of 30+ people, of which I am a member, is responsible for this blog. I've never hid behind a name online. My name is Ken Huss, I've made it know up and down quite often, if you or anyone else wants to reach me it's not hard. I'm one of what? Maybe 2 or 3 openly gay members in hobby of some of most socially conservative people out there, short of competitive cross burners. I've never pulled my punches on hisstank, or hid away from the things I said behind the internet's vial of anonymity, why would I start now on a new website under a lol name? It makes no sense.
If someone wants to call me an asshole I don't mind it. 9 times out of 10 I probably am being one. Just as I respect this site's power to call a spade a shade I expect it out of the people I interact with to do the same to me when needed. No judgement, no grudges, it's just the internet and we should be able to police each other. We're all adults.
As far as hisstank goes... I love hisstank. It's honestly the greatest community out there. I've made so many great friends and allies via my time there. It's the biggest site so you're going to experience it all there. The greatest person the digital world has to offer and most backward douche that leaves you scratching your head wondering how he even has the ability to turn on his computer. I don't mean that to sound negative but that's another reason why I love the site. I love that dichotomy. You can not find that anywhere else! If I wanted to sit on some site where everyone just agreed about everything where is the adventure in that? Give me diversity! Give me a debate! Give me some fucking fire!
