Your understanding of how those algorithms work is lacking, and that is being far kinder than you deserve. We are hardly adding any weight to hisstank's search result positioning. Even if we were, why should we care? No site operated by any self-respecting collector would want the traffic hisstank gets. LOLBRA loses nothing if a forum thread shows up in a Google search for some obscure term no one is actually using.
I can think of several people who credit hisstank on their sites when posting information that originated there. It is unwise to assume everyone engages in the same unscrupulous, unethical behavior as you and your pals.
